Weebly

Weebly is an interesting site I just learned about where you can make your own website and/or blog for free. Now I know we make blogs here on blogger, but weebly can make a whole site; meaning a lot more options. This may be the perfect place to not only promote your writing but set up a store as well where you can sell your writing or maybe a friends writing; like ebooks.

Another way to use weebly or blogger beside promotion to make make a blog or website based on one subject. Just like this blog is dedicated to making money online. Making money online is really a fun job that takes lots of work and dedication to really make a nice income.

Don't forget to set up an "about me" page somewhere. It place where you can send potential clients (or readers who want to know more) to learn more about you as well as seeing links to your accomplishments as an online writer as well.

Best Reviewer's is also a great place to help promote some of your other sites as well. An example if you writer recipes, your top five recipes could be one article. Great way to make extra money and yet promote your current online sites as well.

Sounds like some fun, good promotions or back links, and some extra cash too.

Listmyfive.com

An interest and new site called listmyfive. I have been looking over this site and it looks and sounds very simple. You pick a topic like "Meatloaf". Then you list the top five ways to make meatloaf. You then get paid a percentage of the revenue from ads list on your page of the top five. More then one person can have a list of their top five under the same subjects.

Payout is to paypal. You can either sign up for a new account or link with facebook.

Another great tool I found was an auto notification to facebook and twitter when I make a new list. This will help save time with promoting the lists. This looks like an easy way to make money online, so I'm off to start making lists. Starting with looking at the top five ways to make money online.

Made It Myself

Are you handy making things at home? Finding assembling jobs from home is very hard with all the scam out on the internet. You can however really make money by selling crafts from home. You will have to create an item, then list the item online for a hopeful sale. There are many sites where you could sell crafts such as Ebay or Esty both of which you have to currently take a gamble with your own personal money because of the listing fee. This is great for sure sell or hot items that you know are going to sell. What about the less popular items or crafts you are not sure about?

I found this site Made It Myself for crafts. Currently it has no listing fees and only a 3% selling fee. This is a great way to not gamble with the money in listing fees to sell crafts. You still have the expense of making the craft however. If you or someone you know enjoys making crafts then this site is a great place to start.

May not be all profit for long projects:

For me winter months are slow. Last winter I enjoyed learning to crochet. It was fun. I put $20 into a blanket that was warm and soft. With Made It Myself I could safely list my blanket and wait for a profit. Now that blanket also took weeks for me to make. Partly because I was learning. Most likely a slim chance I'd make enough profit to pay for all the hours that went into making the blanket. However it was an enjoyable hobby that I hope to continue doing this winter.

Take a look at the terms and conditions: http://www.madeitmyself.com/terms.aspx and see if Made It Myself is right for your crafts.

Helium

Yes, it is August and I have not gone anywhere. I got my gallbladder out and that had put me way behind schedule. While, thankfully, my online earning are going through the roof, I bet you are still searching to get to your steady income or increase what you are already making online.

Although I'm down in the dumps waiting on my body to heal, I'm still writing mainly for Helium. Ehow was my biggest and top project for last year. Sadly ehow is no longer taking article, you now have to writer for demand studios; this is another story all together. Anyhow, I spent all last year working on ehow articles, now ehow is still earning for me. Matter of fact I just made $200 last month from ehow from my articles. Not bad for not doing anything but chat on ehow for the last few months. I hoping to see the same results with helium by this time next year. There is already one huge difference with helium. You have to keep up at least one rating star to get paid, while ehow allows me to do nothing to continue to get paid. This is a downfall, but Helium has more titles and debates.

Debates are great! You simply write your opinion in at least 400 words and you make money. Not bad for allow yourself be heard on what your feel. Today there was a debate on wrote on about "page views or upfront payments" for articles. I wrote on liking page views more; which I have also written about on here as well. Since I already have a strong opinion on which way I like to be paid, the article was very easy to write. Here is a link to the article if you like to see it.

There are many more channels on helium as well such as creative writing, which includes poetry and song writing. Poetry articles are only 12 words long. As long as you keep your other stars up; you can get paid for poetry.

Another nice thing about Helium is there is no worry about getting to the title first. After a title is posted, everyone can write under that titles. The articles are rated by users and put in order. It feel great when you see you have written an article that is number 1 out of 300 people. (It shows you may know what you are doing after all.)

I'm still working on healing and feeling exhausted, but I keep writing on Helium as well. So far I'm up to almost eight dollars a month. It doesn't sound like much but ehow started with just a dollar a month and now makes $200 a month...sounds like Helium is worth the hard work.

Redgage

Redgage has become a very nice site to promote articles on. Not only am I promoting my online article and web pages I'm also making money off them as well. I've been giving redgage a try. Although I haven't had much time due to sickness with my gallbladder (hopefully be scheduled to be out soon) but I've still been able to make some extra change from redgage plus the sites I promoted with redgage also had an increase in traffic; meaning I'm making even more on the promoted sites.

Redgage does have a few current draw backs. The site can be slow to load and sometime the posting on the site is not working. As long as you can deal with these small problem, which the site is working on, its a great way to make some extra changed and promote your link as well.

If you take pictures you can also make money from the pictures with Redgage. Simply upload your picture and you'll get paid based upon the traffic viewing the pictures. Great way to share pictures and make more money.

July 4th is a money maker

Don't let July 4th sneak away without making some good use of it. Get out your cameras, your camcorders, or even just your note book. Share your experience with the world. There are some people who will not be able to get out to celebrate or see the fireworks. Having pictures or better yet a videos of your local fireworks can allow these people to enjoy the display as well.

Triond is one place I know of to put picture and videos, but there many more on Internet as well.

Have fun this weekend and enjoy the 4th of July but don't forget to get picture or video.

If you don't have a camera or video, just write article about how your family celebrated this year. It will help to make some extra money and be great to look back on and remember what a wonder time you had.

Tip: Go to the local Dollar tree and get the kids in your family those glow up sticks.. buy extra..people will pay double just to one from you. (note check with local laws some towns require a license for selling at the events, usually based on how many) Regarless it will help keep the kids safe and save you money from the prices at the park.

Happy Four of July Everyone!

June 2010 Earnings

I'm not here to brag about my earnings, just here to show proof that you can make real money online.

OK here what I have so far for my June earning

Triond, not a big one but not much on here yet : $0.54 Plus Google Adense integration $1.20
Ehow, from article written before the big switch to demand studios: $149.62 USD
Firehow: ?? site currently down
Helium: $8.85

These are my main earners. Now depending on which one is getting more attention that month will earn more.. Except for ehow, I put all my time and energy into is from last winter. Now they only except article through demand studios, which I got approved for but haven't used yet. ehow did start off as pennies a month and took almost a year 197 articles and lots of promoting to become what it is now.

Firehow is about $2 -$3 and goes up if I spend a good amount of time promoting articles. Helium I have made $25 payout twice now; this is a good site, but require constant work to keep star ratings up.

Triond is become very interesting with the google adsense integration.. I have not really put much effort into this site yet, but will have to soon.

I don't have much time to write in the summer do to the kids being home and wanting to go to out to play and work is very busy so I don't have time to write there either.. the winter is the big time for writing for me and the payout can be seen in the summer like in the example of ehow. If you are a good writer and have time to write you can do even better then I have so far.

Where to find Freelancing Jobs for Writers

There are lots of online income to be found in online writing. Personally I stick with the AD revenue work as the pay can be more in the long run, but there is also a large advantage to taking on jobs that pay per article completed. These jobs usually pay right after the job is accepted. Pay depends on the experience of the writer. Newbies or beginner writer usually get around $15 per page while an expert can get paid three times. All writers will have to start at the bottom and work their way up to the top. As with finding any online income there is a lot of researching in finding the right writing job for you.

These sites are some great resoucres for find more freelance jobs for writers:

Readbud

Readbud is an interest and easy site to make money. You simply sign up and then read and rate articles. You make a certain amount per article. I read a few today and made $.05 or more per article. Made $.26 in no time at all, really it was under ten minutes. Not only do I read article that interest me and get useful information, I also get paid. You can select your interest, which is how they decided what article you will get. Then you can choose to read or skip an article.

readbud - get paid to read and rate articles

Readbud is an easy to use site that make payments to paypal. One drawback is you have to wait to get up to $50 before you can get your money, but its easy to earn and adds up quickly. Great for anyone who likes to read and has some spare time.

You can also refer your friends and family and make some extra money as well. So far this is one of the easyiest sites that I have tried. Making Money online is hard work, but this one isn't too bad. You do get paid cents per article, but each article only take a few minutes to read.

Remember if you have a pop up blocker to disable it for the Readbud site. I clicked on open article and wondered where the article went. Then I disabled my pop up blocker and there popped up the next article I click on.

This site was so easy to use and make money I even forward it to my mother. Who started making money right away.

Zazzle VS Cafepress

Are you into Art? If you can draw either by hand or on the computer, then there is some money to be found from your artwork. Taking pictures and/or editing graphics* is a great way to make new art. So, how do you make money with art?

Zazzle.com and Cafepress.com are two good sites to start out with. You can submit your original artwork and place it on products. Then when the product with your artworks sells you make money. You can create your own store and promote your own items for sell.

What are the differences between Zazzle and Cafepress?

I started a search for teacup cat mugs on both site. A teacup cat is a cat that stay kitten size it entire life, very cute.

Here is the link if you wanted to see my results:

http://www.cafepress.com/+teacup-cat+mugs
http://www.zazzle.com/teacup+cat+mugs?cg=103094921279026195

Cafepress had the only one teacup cat which can be found here if you would like to see it as well: http://www.cafepress.com/+malibu_large_mug,70497114

Now just by comparing this two pages here are some good points I see:

Zazzle:

More professional looking art that is very eye catching. (Except the actual teacup cat I found on cafepress.)

Zazzle prices seem to be cheaper starting at $13.95 and going up. Which as a user I know if from the requested profit margin by the artist. While cafepress mugs where all $15 for the small and $18 for the large.

Cafepress:

Prices on cafepress are listed right next to the search picture. There is no need for an extra click like on zazzle to find the prices of items.

Search engine for this site took me right to what I wanted. On zazzle I had to adjust and narrow the search down.

Same pricing didn't change between artist. The mugs were all $15 for the small and $18 for the large.

Reviews from users:

Zazzle:

Diane Cass:

“1. Free stores...as many as you want!!!
2. Quality Products
3. They stand behind their products...even if the 30 day return period is over, they will still offer a refund or exchange if there is something wrong with the product...like if the image fades on a mug after dishwashing it. It's not supposed to do that, so they honor their quality guarantee.
4. Affiliate program. 15% for affiliate sales on your own or other peoples products. 5. Volume Bonus - the more you sell the better you earn! It really ads up.”

Lifeisahighway:

“I love Zazzle. Diane introduced me to it with a post she made last year. :) Thanks, Diane. I made a Cafe Press store, too and I do NOT like it at all. I never made any sales and it was just... not as good.

http://www.zazzle.com/lifeisahighway is my store. I love Zazzle :) !!!”

Dreamsinbloom:

“I first started out with CafePress many years ago.  I still have stuff up on CafePress, but it's still kind of hard to compare the two since I've done so little with CafePress over the past couple years. But my general impression is that I have sold more in the same amount of time with less promotion (practically none) at Zazzle than I did with CafePress. Of course, I also made a lot more products on Zazzle than I did with CafePress (because it's so much easier to do at Zazzle than it is with CafePress) so I'm sure that contributes more to my sales as well.

I love that with Zazzle you can let the customers customize the products you made because that can lead to more sales. I love that with Zazzle you can position the text or images almost anywhere you want to. With CafePress if you wanted to move the image just a little bit more up or down you'd have to add "white space" to the image in your image editing program.

With CafePress if you go with their free route you can create many free store's and you can only have one of each kind of product for each store. So basically you end up creating a single store for every new image you make. And then you have to promote several stores instead of just one. Or you can pay to have a store in which you can then have several images on the exact same kind of t-shirt. (I hope I am making sense.) But with Zazzle I can create just one store and have as many images on the exact same product as I want. So you can just promote the one shop, which is easier. You can also have more than one store if you like, which can be good if you are creating products for very different markets that would look wierd in the same shop together.

Anyway, I just am liking Zazzle better. Although there are things I like about CafePress too. And they have some products that Zazzle just doesn't have (and vice versa).

I want to try putting some of my images on both Zazzle and CafePress and see how they do. I've done this only with one image, and surprisingly I've sold 4 on CafePress and none on Zazzle. But it's taken a year's time to sell all four of those.

My main shop at zazzle is http://www.zazzle.com/eclecticdreams*”

Cafepress:
Sorry to report, I don't have any feedback for this section, yet.

Winner:

So overall it looks like Zazzle is more popular with good artist, but can be a bit more pricey as well. Hopefully we hear from some carepress users soon as well.

Here are some great Zazzle stores to check out:

Firehow or eHow, which is the better site?

Firehow VS eHow

Firehow is newer, less then a few years old, company with lots of room of good article. eHow has been around over ten years and have lots of article on the same subject but with different titles. eHow is owned by Demand Studios while Firehow is owned by Paul Mclalin.

They both accept "how to" type articles. "How to" is an article with steps showing people how to accomplish something. Through sharing your knowledge on how to do things you can earn money from the ads placed on and in your articles.

Both pay on a secret scale to help prevent cheating the system. In a mix of ad revenue and many other factors you get paid for your articles each month. Personally, as I've said before, I prefer ad revenue over flat fee payouts. Some articles eventually make hundreds of dollar, yet some only make a few dollars, but it is worth the gamble for the big payouts.

Neither of these, unless you are very lucky, is going to get you rich quick. Earning will start off as exciting little pennies, to dollars, and hopefully to hundreds of dollars each month. On eHow there are many members who make $1000 a month club; very lucky writers who have written many articles. Both start off as a lot of work; lots of promoting and writing, but then you can take a brake when the earning starts to get high. Currently I make $100 per month on eHow and I have not written or promoted in a few months. I do have almost 200 article however.

So what makes using Firehow or eHow better then making your own web page?

There is a nice library of articles already set up with other users promoting their articles to get traffic to their articles. The traffic may look around some more and stumble upon your article. Plus these sites are already getting traffic to their home pages, making it more likely to get traffic to your articles. Having friends on these sites also help as friends often help with advise and even promoting articles.

Overall, you will most likely earn more from putting your articles on their sites instead of making your very own. You can still make money off your own site, but it is harder work to get consistent traffic, high ranking into the search engines, and a library large enough to keep everyone interested.

Which site is better?

eHow pays is better then Firehow. eHow is larger and been around longer. With Firehow you have to work hard to do your own promotion to get traffic but they except almost any "how to" article. eHow makes writers publish through Demand Studios, which excepts established writing that can show samples of their work.

Overall

eHow
Pros:
  • Is better only because of the current higher pay.
  • Has a high ranking on the search engines.
  • Requires less promoting time.
  • Has a consistent daily traffic going to their site.
  • Has a forum where you can talk to other writers.
  • Also has flat fee pay for articles for those who don't want to wait.

Cons:
  • You have to be an established freelancer with samples to get approved to write through Demand Studios.
  • Already has a very large library, many titles are already.
  • Have to wait for article to be approved before they are published.

Fire
Pros:
  • Smaller library with more titles that are yet needed to be written.
  • Just starting but growing very fast.
  • Immediate publishing, no waiting to have an article approved.
  • Great place for all writers, including beginners.
  • Are quick to respond to questions or problems.

Cons:
  • Is a smaller and newer company so pay may be lower compared to others sites.
  • Will need to spend some time promoting articles for a good payout.

Send Earnings

Send earning is one of those get paid to read emails sites. The truth is you get paid just a little over two cents per email read. Why do I still do it? Because it is so easy. It takes just a few seconds each day to click on the email, see the link and close the page. A few times I have found useful sites as well.

Do they real pay? Yes. My Total Current Earnings: $18.85
When the account reaches $30.00 I request another check. It does take a very long time to reach $30.00 with reading emails at around two cents each.

There are 3 other great ways to make money with send earnings:
  1. Take Surveys - I have been making about fifty cents per survey.
  2. Shop Online - Get money back from online shopping
  3. Play Games - Given some free money, you can play games to win more.
By no means is this a fast way or will it ever amount to your yearly income, but every penny counts. Send Earning also pays you for a percentage of your referrals. (Be careful of referring people without trying it)
Although Send Earnings is not the most money to be made online it is one of the easiest. Absolutely no skills required and doesn't take much time at all.

Few More Writing sites

Today I'm checking out some more online sites. It is getting to the busy season with summer coming up, so many of these sites will be save for the winter before trying.

GroundReport: is about news. They are look for reports. The best reports end up on their front page. If you are really good at news report you could become part of the GroundReport' Contributor to get immediate publication. If your a big into local events and/or what going around, this may be a good site for you. Pay is monthly to paypal.

Academia-Research: "dedicated to professional research and writing" This site pays twice a month on the 10th and 25th to "ACH, GBP Bacs, PayPal, E-gold, Wire Transfer, or Remote Cheque." The site gives you a test essay as part of the application. They give you a few days to complete the essay, if you pass you'll be allowed to write for them. After approved you get to choose jobs or tasks to complete. Pay is received as long as the assignments are professional without errora and comply with the directions; the do give an option to fix tasks as well.

vdwriters: A site that pay you to write resumes. Many people stuggle with writing their own resume so they pay people to write the resume for them. They pay once a month through "e-gold, paypal and wire transfer electronic systems".

Affiliates

So far I talked a lot about online writing, but that is only one way to make real online money. With affiliates you can make money by selling. This is a great way to recommend product and get commission when someone clicks and buys from that link. This can be done on a blog or website and can be often done 100% free, no upfront costs at all.

The hardest part of working with affiliates is:

#1 Getting Traffic - Can't make any money without buyers

#2 Providing Quality product at best price - buyer won't buy unless it is a good deal

#3 Detailed information - each product is going to need good information or feedback to help attract buyers.

Give it a try, after all there is nothing to loose except a little time. If you don't make anything, you learn OR it could become your 2nd job income.

Many sites like Walmart or Amazon also have affiliate programs. Often found on the bottom of the page. Amazon is easy to get into, while Walmart is for professionals with high traffic sites.

There are many many affiliate programs, but I have not tried them.. just not enough time in the day to try them all; Yet. I do know a lot of fellow freelancers who also make additional money with affiliates. Bloggers often will add in affiliate links when talking about a certain product that goes with their blog or blog post. However I find a lot of information about affiliate programs on Affiliate Scout.

Affiliate Programs

What to write about

One of the most common problems that writers face is what to write about. To make good money, a writer would not want to spend a whole day researching one article and only get paid $15 for the article. It would
just not be worth the time. However if that research is on ad revenue sharing it could end up make over $100 for the day's worth of work, now that would be worth it.

Flat fees are nice because you know how much you will get paid for the article, while ad revenue is a bit of a gamble. You don't know how long it will take to get traffic or how long the traffic will last, plus you have to wait for the money.

All of this is very important when a writer is stuck and searching on what to write on. A writer could learn a new topic or write about current events; but a writer needs to be careful about the time spent to write an article and determine if the time spent was worth the pay. Of course this is looking at writing from a business stand point, not as a hobby. People who write as a hobby do it for pure enjoyment and the money is a nice bonus. Learning more is alway beneficial.

With all of this in mind what to write about is still the hardest part of writing. Looking back at some of your previous writing my help to spark an idea. Writing sites like Helium allow you to write on titles that are already preexisting. This can be a great help to find a title you can write on, simply search the web site until you find the right title.

Another great resource is reading. By reading you can improve your writing skills and possible strike an idea. Again with Helium you can read and rate articles. The more article you rate the more stars you get, starts equals out to better payouts. (Send me an email if you would like a referral link sent for Helium. I only get so many a year, but I still have some.)

Remember every writer gets stuck with writer block. This could be a sign that it is time for a break or short vacation. Sometime if you spend a week focused on "how to" articles, you just need to change your focus
over to another type of writing like short stories of poetry. This should help you overcome your writer's block.

Just a walk in the woods can help ideas to start popping in, so take along a small note book and pen. This way you'll be ready and not forget any ideas. There is nothing worse then having a good idea and forgetting
what the idea is.

If writer block still continues, you may need to step out of your comfort zone and write about a already created title. It may be more difficult to write, and you may need to do some research, but it may help to get the idea and creativity flowing again.

100 Day Trial

I heard about the 100 day trial in a forum post. A friend, highly dissatisfied with a site, found out on the 45th day that the site was a huge pay out. Although it was dissatisfying at first, because of the slow income start, they quickly fell in love with the site. (In case you are wonder, they fell in love with ehow. Which is now demand studios)  If the friend would have given up when the long slow start, she would have missed out on a nice pay check, and a new good writing site.

Many sites take time to learn to use, article take time to mature, and therefore giving new sites a 100 trial period is the best way to see if a site is really going to work for you. Each writer is different, therefor not all writing will like the same sites.

When you stumble upon a new site, give them the 100 trial period before leaving. This will give the site a fair shot to see how it really matches up with you.

Remember - Never pay money out upfront; 90% of the time it will be a scam.

Triond

Basically Triond is a place to publish any kind of writing, picture, video, or audio. They have a network they publish the content to the most relevant websites. They split the earning in half with you. They pay by Paypal, check, or Western Union.

Overall the site is good place to publish, but I personal feel that writing will usually earn better on the other sites. However, Triond is a good place for video, audio, and pictures. Triond does allow users to intergrade their google adsense accounts to earn even more.

I have been paid from triond many times into my paypal account; so they really do pay. You can find more information on personal experiences about triond Here.

Infolinks

Have you noticed the words with the double lines under them on this blog? Thanks to Infolinks, there are ads in my blog. Now why would I want to put ads in the valuable reading material about making real money online? Because it makes real money! Ads are very important to people who make money online. Writer get paid from ads on their sites.

With infolinks the ads do not take up any space. Keywords are simply underlined twice. When a mouse is dragged over the underline words an ads show up. The ad will disappear when the mouse leaves the double underline words. This really doesn't show much on an interfrerrance to the reader. This method is used by many online sites like ehow and firehow. Now you can turn your blogs or personal sites into making even more money as well with infolinks.

According to the infolinks ad, infolinks video ad, They are the top payers in Ad Revenue. Well I just added it to this blog and I'll keep you updated to how the results are. Plus I can add infolinks to my other sites as well. (I'll be doing this soon)

Just another way to make real money online. And there many more way then just writing.. we'll be cover those soon, so please keep checking back. We have lots of sites and helpful tips to making money online.

Real Money Proof

Ok, I promised that there is real money out on the internet that can be made. I bet you want to see some proof. Now I write on many sites like helium, firehow, associated content, and many more. One site is ehow, now ehow is not excepting any more writes but their parent company Demand Studio is. Demand Studio is now the publishing plat form for ehow. Well I have 192 articles on ehow and started just under a year ago writing for them. Pennies rolled in, then dollars, and now I'm still earning every month on those article. Well here is the proof and my earnings so far May 2010.

Article Stats
Articles Written: 192 (Updated: 5/29/2010)
Article Views: 114,052 (Updated: 5/29/2010)
Earnings in May $91.57 (Updated: 5/28/2010)

Now normally it is not a good idea to publicly show your earnings, but it is the only way to show that proof that you can really make money online. Like I've said before this is not a get rich quick or fast money, but if I continue to write it all adds up. For my earnings to be so high it did take a lot more then just writing the 192 article. It takes time for those article to get attention and hit their earning potential.

I did a lot more then just writing the articles as well. I worked very hard at promoting them as well.
I've used many social networking site like buzz up, twitter, myspace, facebook, and many many more. I used to have to publish to each one individually. Promoting has become much easier with a programed called ping.fm. Ping.fm has saved me countless of hours in promoting articles because I can now do just one post and ping.fm posts the article to many sites. Leaving  just a few that I have to post to individually. There is a list of places to promote your article on here:
https://sites.google.com/site/freelancingworld/place-to-promote

Besides social networking sites, another way to promote your writing is with pingomatic. Pingomatic will ping the search engines and make them aware of your article.

Another great way to promote articles is by answering  question related to your articles. For example, I see on yahoo answers that a writer is looking for places to put their content. I can tell them some of the sites off the top of my head and leave the link for one of my sites that has the list of many more sites. This is allowed because it fully answers their question and leads them to even more answers related to their question.  (note: check the rules before posting so you don't get banned. Do not spam. Only post when it really answers the question being asked.)

It does take a lot of countless hours to started, but after you are established you can slow down to a nice steady pace. As long as you keep writing you should keep making money online.

FireHow

Firehow.com is site for "how to" type of articles. Firehow suggest that you try to write 400 to 600 words per article, but they understand that some articles are impossible to stretch. Like some baking "how tos" just do not need that many words to be clearly written. Firehow is newer company that was started in 2009. The owner is Paul McLalin. The site pays based upon Ad Revenues.

Firehow is easy to write for and you can publish any "How tos" that you can think of. There are just a few drawbacks. Firehow is a newer company, therefor you need to work really hard on promoting to get really good traffic. Not too hard after you sign up for all the site and use ping.fm

With firehow being a newer company the website is not as advance as some of the other website. The newness of the website can also be a great advantage. There is a lots of room for growth and lots of articles as well. This is not a huge payer without a lot of work, but is a great place for writer to start out and start earning. Another large advantage to firehow is you can edit your article after it has been posted. A large help for catching spelling, grammar, and typo errors.

Online Freelancing

There is a nice long list of sites for writer to write online and make money. You do not have to be  a professional writer to make money online, but you do need to have good spelling and grammar. Don't fret if you have a hard time with spelling and grammar that is why we have created spell checkers. Especially if you have a problem with spelling and grammar you should write your articles or stories in a program like Microsoft Word or Open Office. Open Office has many similarities like Microsoft Word, but it  is a free program developed by college students to help other students. Having a good program to type into will help to catch some of the spelling and grammar errors.

The next best step is to save your work and wait at least one day to proof read the article. If you just wrote the article you may miss some common spelling and grammar problems that was not picked up by the spell checker. Some common words that are missed by spell check are words that are spelled correctly, but are the wrong word. Just like when people mix up there and their. Same words, different meaning. For those that would like to know the differences: "there" means a place like over there; "their" is personal or showing ownership like their bike or their book.

Sometimes writing is done away from home without or not as good of a spell and grammar checkers. It is best to paste your writing over to Word of Open Office before publish. This is just another good way to proof read and double check for spelling and grammar errors.

Every time you write you will learn more and get better at writing. Often readers will leave comments on your writing or send private emails to point out errors. Do not take offense to these being pointed out. The readers are trying to help you to learn and become a better writer.

You can find a nice list of where to write on this web site: https://sites.google.com/site/freelancingworld/where-to-write-online
This site is full of real places to write online that I or a close friend have tried and made some money from. I will be talking more about individual sites in later posts including how well they pay. The list is a good place to start if you are looking to get into freelancing.

Online freelancing is great because you can write from almost anywhere and on anything you can think of. You can writer "How tos", poems, or even stories. There is a site for everyone. There is one problem with freelancing, you are not going to get rich quick or be able to quit your day job by the next week. Especially with sites that have ad revenue sharing, the money will start with pennies, then dollars, eventually like me, you'll enter the hundreds of dollars a month. This takes time to build a large library of your writing.

There are two main ways of getting paid. Ad Revenue or flat fees. Flat fee are nice because they give you the quickest way to money. Ad Revenue trickles in a little each month and continues as long as the page gets traffic. Many of my article have made over $100 for one article with Ad Revenue. So if you can wait the article may make more money with ad revenue. Some sites like Associated Content, do both upfront payment and ad revenue sharing. Often unless it is a large amount, I keep away from the just flat fees because I can make by waiting for the Ad Revenue. Ad Revenue is also nice because you start to get a paycheck every month. As your library of writing gets larger the monthly paychecks usually get larger as well.

Paypal

I bet almost everyone has heard of paypal. There are many people who are worried and scared that paypal is not safe. I have used paypal for many years and once had a break in problem. The break in was actually my fault. All of my online logins and passwords were the same. Someone got into one of my accounts and has access to everything else. Thankfully between the nice paypal and the bank, I didn't loose anything. I did waste some time and get a headache. I almost gave up on paypal, but needed paypal to continue my online life. I made some major changes and never had a problem since.

If you want to earn money online you will need a paypal account. Very few places online will send a check. Getting a check usually take twice as long and usually incurs some fees. With the these rules, listed below, you can safely use paypal and never worry about a break in. These rules are very simple and important. Paypal is a must of online workers.

Rules to keep safe with paypal.

#1 Use one email address as your login, but a different address to receive your emals from paypal. Many scams are done by people sending emails to your login address. Setting paypal to a private address will stop scams from really finding you. You safely know that all of the email going into your login email address are spam.. don't open them. Forward the email to spoof@paypal.com  and then delete the email.

#2 Use a unique password that you don't use anywhere else. This may be hard at first, but it is the best way. Make up a password using random letters and numbers, have at least one capitalized. Write down the password in a safe spot. Do Not save the password to your computer. If you have a safe, lock the password away. It is best not to use real words as they are easier to crack.

#3 Never ever ever give your password to anyone. Even paypal doesn't need your password.. it is only for you. A web site only needs your paypal login to send money, not your password. Your password is only to be used for login into paypal.

#4 Never follow a link in an email to paypal. Some people set up sites to look like paypal, but they only get you if you follow their link and put in your login and password. If you follow rule number one, you'll see these email going to the login address, not the other address that paypal really send to.

Revtweets

This is a real way to make money with twitter. All you have to do is copy ads and tweet them out to your followers. The real trick here is you have to have followers to tweet to. When the followers click on the revtweet, you earn money. Note you can not tell people to click on the tweets or click them yourself; this is click fraud and you could get banned.

For this to really be profitable you need to have a twitter account, which is free. Then you need to tweet (or post) short and interesting links to get followers. You can also quickly build up your followers by following other people.

As long as people are reading your tweets, they may click on one of your revtweets and you will make money. This is quick as it only takes a few seconds to do, depending on your followers it will take a while to reach the pay out. Payout happen upon request and must be a minimal amount of $20.00 which is payable to your paypal account.

This will not get you quick at all, but if you don't mind waiting.. it will slowly add up pennies. This is much more profitable.. if you tweet more then just ads. You'll have to tweet something interesting.. like this article...(I hope you are finding it interesting).

Rules for Finding Real Income

I have often just told people about the ways I am able to make money online. Often people get discourage because of all the scams out there. Yes, there are a lot of scams out there, but you can find real ways to make money online. Fist you need to have rules to seperate spam from real.

Rules:

#1 Never, ever pay for information. Information is free and unless you are investing into a company, why would you pay for a job?

#2 Read all the fine print before signing up. Ok, I know there is a lot to read and even I skim through the "mobo jumbo". Things to look for are anything about fees and how you are to be paid. However you really should read all the "mobo jumbo" so you know what you are getting into.

#3 Check the internet for information on the website before giving out personal information.
